Cannes sci-fi: Na Hong-jin says he’s already planning a sequel to his Cannes sci-fi thriller “Hope.”
Sitcom-to-sci-fi comedy: HBO Max dropped the first trailer for “Stuart Fails to Save the Universe”, a “Big Bang Theory” spinoff that goes full multiverse adventure-comedy. Premiere: July 23 (year not specified in the piece).
Streaming strategy shift: Amazon MGM’s live-action “Voltron” movie is officially skipping theaters and heading straight to Prime Video (no date yet).
Big sci-fi release window: “Silo” Season 3 is reported to premiere July 3, 2026, with Season 4 confirmed as the final season.
