Reading a free book is a good way to find out whether you like an author’s work.
Each week we gather selections of free books by a range of science-fiction, fantasy and romantasy authors. You can explore freely, and walk away at any point. Try something new without spending anything, and you might find a book you really love.
This treasure trove changes frequently, so choose your selection while they’re available. The collections are meant to include only clean reads—no gore, violence, or smut. While we can’t personally check every title, most authors do play by the rules.
Readers often assume that the best books must be the ones they pay for, but many excellent authors offer free titles to introduce new readers to their work.
Have a browse through these free books and pick whichever ones catch your eye. If they’re not for you, you can simply move on to others.

As the promo organiser says, ‘They can just feel like a fairytale like “Once Upon a Broken Heart” isn’t a fairytale retelling but everyone thinks of it as a fairytale story.’
There are no open-door sex scenes, but fade-to-black is okay for this promo as long as it keeps to level 3 on the Reading Gals guide. I have no idea what that is, because I cannot find it online, but “no open-door” and “fade-to-black” seems to mean “up to Level 2” on Fractal Enigma.
